Armin Kech

Armin Kech currently serves as the Data & Records Governance Director at Swiss Re since February 2023, overseeing the Group’s Data & Records Governance Centre of Expertise. This role involves developing and implementing policies and procedures related to data governance, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with stakeholders across various levels. Prior to Swiss Re, Armin was the Head of Data Governance at MBC Group from February 2019 to January 2023, where responsibilities included establishing a comprehensive Data Governance framework, leading the Data Privacy compliance program, and enhancing data quality processes. Armin's earlier experience encompasses roles at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd as a Senior Enterprise Information Architect and Senior Data Manager, focusing on data strategy, quality, and stewardship. Armin began a career in data management at Microsoft Headquarters in Western Europe, initially as a Business Analyst and later as a Senior Data Analyst, specializing in financial analysis and data management. Armin's educational background includes a Master's degree in Business Informatics from Reutlingen University, as well as studies at Valparaiso University.
