Martijn Tielens

Martijn Tielens, CFA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Vice President and Investor Relations Manager at Swiss Re since September 2014. Tielens has held various roles within the company, including Vice President of Private Debt and Assistant Vice President in both Private Debt and Portfolio Analysis for External Investment Mandates. Prior to Swiss Re, Tielens worked as a student-to-student tutor at Sagio.be and completed a summer internship in Advisory Services at KPMG. Tielens also contributed to a startup business plan for Materialise, focusing on transportation in rural Benin. Academically, Tielens achieved all three CFA levels on the first attempt from the CFA Institute and holds a Bachelor of Business Economics from KU Leuven, complemented by an exchange at Copenhagen Business School.
