Tom Tiede

Tom Tiede is an accomplished leader in supply chain consulting with extensive experience in warehouse automation and management. Currently serving as Head of Consulting - Americas at Swisslog, Tom is responsible for advancing integrated warehouse automation solutions. Previously, as Managing Director at NTT DATA Supply Chain Consulting, Tom provided comprehensive guidance throughout the warehouse transformation lifecycle. Tom held various senior roles at Fortna, including Vice President for Global Contracts, Professional Services, and Supply Chain Services, where significant initiatives included leading project teams and developing program management standards. Early career experiences include management consulting positions at IBM, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Coopers & Lybrand, reflecting a deep expertise in supply chain strategy, facility design, and operational excellence. Tom earned both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
