Jordan Semjaniv

Jordan Semjaniv is a Flight Test Engineer at Swoop Aero since March 2024, and the Lead Test Pilot at Monash Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) since November 2020, overseeing the safe flight testing of experimental airframes and coordinating with the Flight Analysis Lead for data collection and design modifications. In addition, Jordan serves as Team Lead, managing approximately 100 student-engineers, developing strategic goals, and maintaining team culture. Previously, Jordan held multiple roles at Monash UAS, including Computer Aided Design Manager and Aerostructures Technical Member, contributing significantly to CAD standards and critical component design. Alongside aerospace engagements, Jordan tutors Business/Commerce and Aerospace Engineering at Mannix College and has been an RPAS Pilot for Life Saving Victoria and a Senior Surf Instructor at Go Ride a Wave. Jordan is pursuing a dual degree in Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce, Economics at Monash University, completing studies in 2024.
