Gary Noble

Dr Gary Noble is the former Associate Dean (International & Accreditation) for the Faculty of Business at UOW. In this role, Gary was responsible for all international operations and the establishment of key collaborative agreements with overseas universities. He also led the Faculty’s 10 year journey towards successful AACSB accreditation, placing the Faculty in the Top 5% of Business Schools in the world. Prior to this Gary was Head of the Marketing Department in the School of Management and Marketing and established the Centre for Social Marketing Research at UOW. Gary couples together formal qualifications in both marketing and management with extensive industry experience having held a number of senior positions in multinational companies in Australia, Singapore, the UK and the USA prior to joining academia.

During his time at UOW, Gary taught across a range of marketing subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate level including international marketing; tourism marketing and marketing strategy. Gary is co-author of one of Australia's leading international marketing texts and his research is concentrated in the areas of social marketing, marketing strategy, digital marketing and communications.

Currently, Gary provides ongoing strategic marketing and communications advice to a number of Australian corporations, as well as NGOs and government departments.
