Sara Yasipour

Sara Yasipour currently serves as an Environment Officer at Sydney Metro since August 2022. Previous experience includes roles as a Scientific Consultant at BMT from March 2020 to August 2022, and as an Environmental Research Fellow at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research from November 2018 to March 2020. Sara also worked as a Post Graduate Researcher at Macquarie University between June 2015 and March 2020, and held the position of Environmental Consultant at ERM: Environmental Resources Management from August 2017 to February 2019. Earlier in their career, Sara served as an Environmental Coordinator at the Iran Power Plant Development Company from October 2010 to October 2013 and as a Mapping Technician at Consulting Engineers Mapping from November 2009 to October 2010. In terms of education, Sara Yasipour obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Environmental Science and a Master of Science (MS) in Environmental Science from Macquarie University, completing the Ph.D. program in 2019 and the MS program in 2016. Additionally, Sara earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Natural Resources Engineering Environmental Science from Allameh Mohades Noori between 2005 and 2009.
