Sean Caldwell

Sean Caldwell is a seasoned professional in asset management and engineering, currently serving as the Acting Director of Asset Management & Engineering and Senior Manager of Asset Assurance at Sydney Metro since January 2021. Sean's responsibilities include developing an assurance framework for operations and overseeing performance reporting related to asset management and operations outcomes. Previous experience includes roles at Pit 2 Port Management as Operations, Assets and Systems Implementation Lead, and management positions with Ansaldo STS, where Sean contributed to the Autohaul project for Rio Tinto’s Pilbara Rail operations. With a career that began at Network Rail as a Signal Engineer Apprentice, Sean has progressively taken on positions that encompass project management, technical support, and system surveillance across various rail projects.
