Tariq Khan

Tariq Khan is an accomplished project manager with extensive experience in the infrastructure and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Sydney Metro since August 2021, Tariq is responsible for overseeing driverless rail projects, including rail tunnels and metro stations. Previously, Tariq held the position of Senior Project Engineer at Downer, managing intelligent transportation system projects, and served as a Project Engineer at Lendlease, focusing on road tunnel projects. Tariq's career also includes a significant tenure at Siemens, where project management of high voltage substations was a key responsibility. Tariq holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology and a Diploma of Project Management from Elemental Projects.
