Wasim Muhammad

Wasim Muhammad is an experienced construction and project management professional with a strong background in quality assurance, health, safety, and environmental management. Currently serving as Associate Director of Surveillance and Verification at Sydney Metro since July 2023, Wasim has also held a Transport Executive role at TfNSW since July 2020, focusing on construction leadership. Previously, Wasim worked as Head of Compliance, Completions, and Delivery at John Holland, where leadership was provided for the AUD 4 billion Westconnex Stage 3B project. With significant roles at various companies including Drake & Scull International PJSC and Habtoor Leighton Group, Wasim has successfully turned around struggling projects, managed large teams, and established comprehensive management systems. Wasim holds a Master of Engineering in Construction Management from the Asian Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
