Alex Fisher

Alex Fisher is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the water and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director at Sydney Water since November 2022, Alex previously held strategic advisory responsibilities at Birdon Group from April 2023 to July 2024 and was Program Director for CSSI Dams Projects at WaterNSW from October 2019 to June 2022. Notable previous positions include Director Infrastructure at Port Macquarie-Hastings Council and Executive General Manager at SunWater and Seqwater. Alex has also contributed to various committees and boards, including roles in Dams Safety NSW and Many Rivers Regional Housing Services Aboriginal Corporation. Educational qualifications include a PhD from QUT, an MBA, and specialized training from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
