Jorge Tapia

Jorge Tapia is a professional with a diverse background in electronic engineering and project management, currently serving as Component Owner for Sensor & Actuator at Symbio since June 2024. Prior to this role, Tapia was Chef de projet Générique at EFI Automotive, overseeing the development of generic products and processes while ensuring contractual and profitability commitments. Experience also includes a position as Ingénieur recherche et innovation at Plastic Omnium, where innovative automotive demonstrators were developed, along with roles in electronic prototyping at Groupe IT Link and validation at Médiane Système. A former apprentice engineer at Alstom Transport, Tapia has education from INSA Lyon and Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, showcasing strong expertise in electronics, software, and mechanics.
