Jatinder Kumar

Jatinder Kumar is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in product validation, characterization, and applications support across several technology companies. Currently serving as a Staff Product ASIC Validation Engineer at Synaptics Incorporated since August 2012, Jatinder has focused on validating DisplayPort, HDMI, and USB products for notebook and PC devices, including the development of characterization boards and debugging ASIC products. Prior roles include Senior Product Engineer at Integrated Device Technology, where Jatinder managed characterization plans for various video products, and Staff Product Engineer at Lattice Semiconductor, concentrating on SERDES core validation in FPGA platforms. Jatinder's career began at Hewlett Packard Company as a Reliability/Failure Analysis Engineer, where responsibility included developing reliability qualification plans for high-speed I/O ICs and conducting failure analyses. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from San José State University and a Master of Science in Physics from Panjab University Chandigarh, India.
