Norman Young

Norman Young has extensive experience in the medical software industry, currently serving as the Director of MRI Software at Synaptive Medical since December 2014, with previous roles as Senior Development Manager and Software Manager. Prior to this, Norman Young was the Founder and Director of Engineering at ClearCanvas Inc. from November 2005 to December 2014, and also held the positions of Senior Software Developer at Merge eFilm and eFilm Medical from June 2002 to June 2004 and June 2000 to June 2002, respectively. Norman Young began a career in software development at the University Health Network from April 1998 to June 2000. Academically, Norman Young holds both a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto, completed in 1998 and 1995, respectively.
