Francesca Tillou

Francesca Tillou is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in governance, risk management, and quality assurance across various organizations. Currently serving as the CTO Governance and Risk Manager at Synchrony since March 2015, Francesca specializes in strengthening risk and control frameworks and managing the execution of regulatory exams. Prior roles include leadership positions at GE, where Francesca excelled as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Incident Manager, and Problem Manager, driving continuous improvement across IT operations. Francesca also has a foundational background in computer science and engineering, holding a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Siena College.
