Maria Tender currently serves as the Head of Strategy-Communications at Syneos Health Communications since May 2020. Previously, Maria held various strategic leadership roles at DDB from 1996 to May 2020, including Director of Strategic Planning, where significant contributions included new business development generating over $100 million in agency revenue and leading successful campaigns for major clients like Merck and Allergan. Earlier career experience includes positions such as Group Brand Planning Director, instrumental in launching the HPV vaccine Gardasil, and Associate Director of Strategy at Grey, where Maria led strategic efforts for brands like Procter & Gamble. Maria started as a Brand Strategist at McCann after earning a BBA from Baruch College.
