Karen Yarza Seiber is a Consulting Associate and Executive Director at Fundacion Paso Del Norte Para La Saludy Bienestar. Her work currently focuses on strengthening the health, well-being, and capacity of non-profit organizations in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, in Mexico.
She previously worked as Director of the Chihuahuan Desert Program of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and Executive Director of the Fundacion Comunitaria de la Frontera Norte (FCFNAC).
Ms. Yarza has gained experience at many non-profit organizations in her community including Centro Humano de Liderazgo, A.C., Programa de Educación en Valores, A.C., Patronato Amigos del Museo de la Ex Aduana, A.C., and Desarrollo Empresarial Mexicano, A.C. She also participates actively in different networks, including the US-Mexico Border Philanthropy Partnership and Fundaciones Comunitarias (Mexico’s network of community foundations). She has a B.A. in international commerce from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores in Monterrey.
