Alasdair Heathcote McIps

Alasdair Heathcote MCIPS currently serves as the Head of the CIDO’s office at Syngenta Group since December 2024, while also working as a UK Academy Scout for Rangers Football Club since January 2023. Previously, Alasdair held various leadership roles at Syngenta from September 2016 to December 2024, including Chief Of Staff and Global Head of Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management for IT and Digital. Alasdair's earlier experience includes roles at Stoke City Football Club as a Professional Development Phase Scout, and significant positions at The Co-operative Bank plc, focusing on cost reduction and procurement management, alongside category management roles within The Co-operative Group. Alasdair's career began with the Britannia Building Society's fast track leadership program, which provided a broad base of skills across multiple business functions.
