Frederico Barreto

Frederico Barreto currently serves as the Commercial Director for the Seeds Business Unit in Brazil and Paraguay at Syngenta, beginning in November 2023. Prior experience includes a tenure at Corteva Agriscience, where Frederico held the title of Director for the Commercial West Area, overseeing a $1 billion portfolio in Seeds and Crop Protection, and as Director of Marketing Seeds, focusing on strategy and execution for a $1 billion seed business. At DuPont Pioneer, Frederico was the Senior Manager of Marketing & Communications, successfully turning around profitability through strategic marketing initiatives. Additional roles at Nidera and Pioneer Hi-Bred International, spanning from marketing management to territory planning, culminate in a comprehensive background in strategic marketing and commercial leadership within the agricultural sector.
