Li-Jin Chen

Li-Jin Chen is an accomplished software architect at Synopsys Inc, focusing on the development of an advanced OPC modeling platform through the incorporation of machine learning and GPU technologies to improve computational efficiency and model accuracy in mask synthesis. Previously, Li-Jin held roles as Senior Manager of R&D, Senior Staff Engineer at TSMC, Manager of Computational Lithography and Machine Learning, and Director of New Technology Development at Optoplex. Li-Jin also served as CEO and Principal Investigator at Idesta Quantum Electronics and Thorlabs, respectively, and began a distinguished academic career as a Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology after earning a PhD in EECS there. Educational qualifications include a PhD from MIT, an MS from National Taiwan University, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the same institution.
