Reza Jalayer

Reza Jalayer, PhD, P.Eng, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in firmware and application engineering. Currently a Senior Application Engineer at Rambus since February 2022, Reza specializes in High Speed SerDes, providing technical support to global customers throughout the IP delivery and production process. Previously, Reza worked at Rockwell Automation as a Senior Firmware Engineer, developing firmware for medium/low voltage drive systems within a CI/CD framework. Reza's academic background includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering from McGill University, where research focused on small signal stability analysis, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. Notable prior experience also includes work as a Research Assistant and Electrical Engineer, developing analytical models and prototypes for various applications.
