Over the past twenty years, Susan Schuman has built and led SYPartners—a practice that partners with the world’s most visionary leaders undergoing business and cultural transformations. Susan has worked alongside Fortune 100 CEOs and their teams to imagine the future they want to create, and then built their strategies, cultures, and human behaviors to make their vision a reality. She’s worked with executives at AARP, Ascena, Blackstone, Coach, Facebook, GE, IBM, Oprah Winfrey Network, PPFA, Starbucks, Target, Weight Watchers, Viacom, and The CW, among many others.
SYPartners has been recognized by The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, and Fortune for its unique approach to transformation consulting—one that’s purpose-driven, creativity-fueled, and human-led, applied to both business and social challenges. In 2014, SYPartners joined Tokyo-based Hakuhodo DY Holdings and is now helping to establish kyu—a strategic unit that serves as a home for a small, distinguished portfolio of the world’s most entrepreneurial and generative agencies, design firms, and consultancies.
Prior to SYPartners, Susan was the General Manager of Studio Archetype, one of the first premier web design firms in the U.S. She also ran her own marketing and product strategy consulting firm, and spent seven years at Apple, where she was Group Manager of Worldwide Product Marketing.
