Christina Balis

Christina Balis serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Systematic since February 2024 and has been the Global Campaign Director for Training & Mission Rehearsal at QinetiQ since September 2016. In the role of Director of Services & Products Strategy at QinetiQ, Christina leads the development of market understanding and evolving strategies. Previously, Christina was Principal at Avascent from October 2011 to August 2016, overseeing European operations and supporting clients in government-driven markets. Christina also held the position of Vice President Corporate Strategy at Serco, developing long-term strategic plans and pursuing M&A deals. Earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Associate at Avascent and the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and Christina holds multiple degrees from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and other institutions, culminating in a Ph.D. in Strategic Studies.
