Datuk Zakaria Bin Sharif

Datuk Zakaria Bin Sharif (“Datuk Zakaria”) joined the Board as an Independent NonExecutive Director on 7 August 2020. He is also a Chairman of the Nomination Committee and a member of the Audit Committee of the Company. Datuk Zakaria has vast experience in the corporate world including auditing, property development, re-insurance and fund management. He has served in Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera Group since 1988 to 2019 where he retired as Deputy Chief Executive. Datuk Zakaria served on the board of public listed and private companies not only as a Board member but also as Chairman and member of Investment and Audit subcommittees of the Board. He is a Fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants, an Associate of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Degree in Economics majoring in Accountancy from Monash University, Australia.
