TactiScan, powered by Spectral Engines sensor technology, is a pocket-sized narcotics screener for police patrols bringing new levels of safety and efficiency to police field work. TactiScan allows police officers to detect the most commonly used illicit narcotics onsite without officer exposure. No chemicals or sample preparation is needed.  At the core of the TactiScan narcotics scanner is a Spectral Engines’ Near Infrared (NIR) spectral sensing module combined with scalable mobile and cloud connectivity to enable fast mass data management.
