Salma Bakry

Salma Bakry is a Strategy Analyst at Tahaluf since October 2024 and a member of the Youth Committee at the National Council for Women in Egypt since October 2020, focusing on enhancing the socioeconomic conditions of Egyptian women and promoting their community involvement. Salma previously worked as an Insights Analyst at CARMA, where the role involved analyzing media coverage and delivering high-quality reports, and progressed through positions including Senior Research Executive. As an academic, Salma served as a Lecturer in Mass Communication and Journalism at Modern Sciences and Arts University and held various teaching roles following the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication. Salma holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from Coventry University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Political Science at Cairo University.
