Tara Delloiacono Thies

Tara DelloIacono Thies, RDN, is a seasoned nutrition professional with over 20 years of experience in product development and strategic planning within the consumer-packaged goods sector, particularly focused on wellness and outdoor brands. Currently serving as the Gainful Scientific Advisor since September 2019, Tara also operates TaraDellTells, providing consulting nutrition services aimed at improving brand communications about nutrition contributions. As a coach and sports nutrition specialist for the Sugar Bowl Ski Team and Academy, Tara guides young outdoor enthusiasts on nutrition for their adventures. Previous roles include senior nutrition management positions at Clif Bar & Company, where Tara played a pivotal role in developing scientifically-supported food products, and various clinical and nutrition leadership roles in community health settings. Tara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Montana State University-Bozeman and has studied food science at Oregon State University.
