James Madison is an accomplished leader in quality services and compliance with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Head of Quality Services & Improvement at Takeda since January 2021, Madison drives change and business transformation at the Vienna site, fostering strategic thinking and innovative approaches. Madison previously held key positions at Sandoz, including Lead Quality for Complaints Management, overseeing the complaint lifecycle for biological drug products and medical devices, as well as roles in manufacturing supervision and quality assurance. Earlier experience includes a compliance and quality specialist role at GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals. Madison holds a Global Executive MBA from WU Executive Academy and the University of Minnesota, along with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Microbiology from Université Laval.
