Scientist, Global DMPK at Takeda Pharmaceutical

Neha Sangewar, PhD, is a Senior Scientist at Takeda Pharmaceuticals since April 2021, specializing in drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK) to support biologics, cell, and gene therapy development. Prior to Takeda, Neha held roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at Kansas State University, focusing on Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus vaccine development, and at Texas A&M University, where work involved creating recombinant chimeric Influenza A antigens and a T cell-based vaccine for Zika virus. Additionally, Neha contributed to African Swine Fever Virus vaccine research, served as a Teaching Assistant in Biotechnology, and participated in bioassay research at Zoetis Inc. Neha holds a PhD in Pathobiology from Kansas State University, a Master’s in Biotechnology from Texas A&M University, and a Bachelor’s in Biotechnology from the National Institute of Technology Raipur.
