Christopher Kay

Christopher Kay is an experienced mechanical professional with a diverse background in engineering and maintenance across various industries. Currently serving as Technical Services Supervisor at TAKRAF Group since April 2023, Christopher previously held positions as a Mechanical Fitter at BHP and Minprovise, focusing on the maintenance and commissioning of crushers and other fixed plants. Earlier experience includes a role as a Mechanical Fitter at CPS Conveyors, where responsibilities encompassed machinery repair and project-based work in safety guard design and manufacturing. Christopher also worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Eni, addressing high-pressure challenges in a petrochemical setting, and at Babcock International Group, maintaining mechanical systems aboard the Royal Navy's vessels. Christopher holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clydebank College and a Standard Grade from Park Mains High School.
