Wei Chen

Wei (Stella) Chen is an accomplished food scientist and project manager with extensive experience in product and packaging at Talking Rain Beverage Company® since June 2019. Key achievements include managing laboratory testing programs, optimizing quality assurance processes, and leading intellectual property initiatives. Prior positions include Food Scientist at Modernist Cuisine, where Wei designed culinary research projects and collaborated on book content, and Research Project Leader at Mérieux NutriSciences, where project management and technical support were pivotal. Wei holds a Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology, alongside a Master's degree and culinary certification from the University of Tennessee, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from Hefei University of Technology.
