Stephanie Hansard

Stephanie Hansard serves as an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Talladega College since August 2023 and has been in the same role at Birmingham-Southern College since August 2017, where responsibilities include developing and teaching courses in various sociology subjects and coordinating community partnerships. Previous experience includes positions as a Teaching Assistant and Teaching Associate at Georgia State University, where courses in Introductory Sociology and Social Statistics were developed. Prior to academia, Stephanie held roles such as a Grant Writing Intern at Good Samaritan Health Center of Cobb and Volunteer Coordinator at Fugees Family, Inc. Stephanie holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from Agnes Scott College.
