Hal Taylor

Hal Taylor is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as the Head of Software Engineering at Tamedia since January 2023, previous roles include Head of Publishing Technology and Head of Technology, Digital Publishing at TX Group AG. Hal has held key positions at X-Rite as Director of Software Engineering, overseeing color management solutions, and at Cimpress as Senior Manager, Technology, where responsibilities involved managing engineering teams for mass customization projects. Additional experience includes senior management roles at Sunrise Communications AG, Tempobrain AG, and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, alongside early career positions at Walt Disney Imagineering and Walt Disney Animation Studios. Hal's educational background includes an Executive Masters in Enterprise System Development from Zurich University of Applied Sciences and participation in the altMBA program.
