Buddy Carlyle

Buddy Carlyle currently serves as the Pitching Coordinator for the Tampa Bay Rays, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Buddy Carlyle had an extensive tenure with the Los Angeles Angels from November 2016 to October 2023, progressing from Assistant Minor League Pitching Coordinator to Minor League Pitching Coordinator, and also serving as a AA Pitching Coach. Earlier coaching experience includes a position as a Coaching Assistant/Video Replay with the Atlanta Braves in 2016. As a professional pitcher, Buddy Carlyle's career spanned multiple Major League Baseball teams, including stints with the New York Mets, Toronto Blue Jays, Atlanta Braves, New York Yankees, and Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, starting from 2006 through 2016. Buddy Carlyle is a graduate of Bellevue East Senior High School.
