Matti Raitoharju

Matti Raitoharju is a highly experienced researcher and specialist in signal processing, currently serving as a Visiting Researcher at Tampere University since September 2023, and as a Senior Specialist at Patria since August 2018. With a strong background in indoor positioning and Bayesian estimation algorithms, Matti has notably held postdoctoral research roles at Aalto University and Tampere University of Technology, focusing on optimization and position estimation methods. Previous experience includes consultancy at OptoFidelity, visiting research at Chalmers University of Technology, and a research assistant role at Queen's University. Matti holds a Doctor of Science and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Tampere University of Technology and has also completed an exchange program at Irkutsk National Research Technical University.
