Virpi Walden

Virpi Walden is an experienced human resources professional with a strong background in leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Henkilöstöjohtaja at Tampereen Energia since February 2021, Virpi has also held positions on various boards, including Tampereen Vera Oy and the Vakuutuskassa of the Tampere city group. Prior to this, Virpi was HR Director at DS Smith from August 2015 to October 2020, actively participating in labor negotiation committees. Additional HR leadership experience includes a tenure at Nanso Group Inc. and a role as HRD manager at Metso Automation Inc. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Adult Education, Psychology, and Business Administration from the University of Tampere.
