Philip Kovacs

Phil Kovacs began his career as a high school English teacher. After earning his Ph.D. and accepting a tenured faculty position at UAH, he left academia to help lead an education start up. When Appleton Learning hit almost $50M in ARR, he stepped down from his position as President with the intention of spending a year fishing. Two weeks later, in 2017, he joined the team at Tango Tango as a consultant. He served as CRO and CEO of Tango Tango before stepping down in 2022.
