Tom Molden

Tom Molden serves as the CIO Global Executive Engagement at Tanium, focusing on addressing complex challenges in manufacturing and industrial sectors through IT and strategy expertise. Previously, Molden held the position of Head of Information Technology at REMarkets, where responsibility encompassed IT strategy development and digital transformation. Additionally, Molden provided advisory services on digital transformation and cybersecurity as a CIO Advisory & Strategy Consultant for Whatcom Ventures. Prior experience includes leadership roles at General Motors, where Molden was instrumental in information security strategy and IT governance during significant transformations, and at AMD, where Molden developed strategies for business transformation and enterprise data management. Molden began a career at Sixt AG as Division General Manager, managing operations prior to acquisition. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance and MIS from Texas McCombs School of Business, a BA in International Studies from the University of Washington, and an Advanced Computer Security Certificate from Stanford University.
