Santiago Freyria Dueñas

Santiago Freyria Dueñas is an accomplished business professional with extensive experience in operations and management across various industries. Currently serving as the General Manager for Shef in the Bay Area since February 2023, Freyria previously held the position of VP of Operations at InnerPlant, where notable achievements included leading fundraising efforts that increased company valuation over tenfold and launching the first commercial product. As a co-founder of Berkeley StEP, the largest incubation program at UC Berkeley, and Callisto Spirits, the world's first botanical rum, Freyria has demonstrated a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Leadership roles also include co-presidency of the Berkeley Entrepreneurs Association, where Freyria transformed the organization to better support aspiring entrepreneurs. Educational credentials include an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a degree in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
