Vasana Dias

Vasana Dias (Amarasekara), Assoc CIPD, has extensive experience in human resources and organizational transformation within various sectors. Currently, as part of the HR Integration & Transformation Team at TAQA Group since July 2020, contributions focus on supporting the people strategy and HR transformation of a newly merged entity that employs over 7,000 people. Prior experience includes a consultancy role at Heidrick & Struggles, where support was provided in human capital strategy and operations for Abu Dhabi Power Corporation, and a tenure at Arab Media Group, where leadership in human capital alignment to business objectives was a key focus. Earlier career roles included positions in Arabian Gases LLC and Wilhelmsen Maritime Services, beginning with a personal assistant role at Jumeirah. Vasana Dias holds a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management from Middlesex University Dubai, an accredited CIPD degree.
