Majid Jahani

Majid Jahani is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as Lead Data Scientist at Target, Majid previously held the position of Senior AI Scientist. Majid's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Applied Mathematics, specializing in Operations Research and Network Theory, from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic. In addition to industry roles, Majid has contributed to academia as a Graduate Research Assistant, Instructor, and Teaching Assistant at Lehigh University, and also served as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at both the University of Tehran and Amirkabir University of Technology. Early career experience includes an Operations Research Internship at SAS.
