Martijn de Jong

Martijn de Jong has extensive experience in water safety and sustainability, currently serving as an Adviseur Waterveiligheid en Duurzaamheid and Accountmanager Waterschap Rivierenland at Arcadis since October 2009. Martijn has held various leadership roles, including Projectleider Waterveiligheid and Teamleider Waterveiligheid. Additionally, Martijn is a member of the basisteam at Taskforce Deltatechnologie, representing NLIngenieurs and participating in various working groups focused on regional land, water quality regulations, and sustainability since October 2020. Martijn began the professional journey as a trainee at MWH from 2006 to 2008 and holds a degree in Physical Geography, specializing in Coastal and Fluvial systems, from Utrecht University (2000-2005).
