Shiv Shankar Kumar

Shiv Shankar Kumar is an experienced professional in the development sector, currently serving as Cluster Lead at Tata Trusts and as Founder and CEO of Varenyam Charitable Trust since early 2022. Previously, Shiv held the position of State Program Manager for Bihar and North Bengal at Nomi Network from 2012 to 2021, spearheading initiatives to promote livelihood opportunities for victims of human trafficking. Notable achievements include a fellowship at Ford Motor Company, where Shiv completed a Management Development Program at Columbia University in 2014, and extensive work with various organizations such as Aide et Action and Udyogini, focusing on vocational training and women's entrepreneurship. Shiv holds a Postgraduate degree in Rural Development and Agricultural Economics from Visva-Bharati and a certificate in NGO Management from Columbia University.
