Nigel Randall

Nigel Randall is an experienced technology executive with a diverse background in IT leadership and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Technology at Tate since April 2018, Nigel also holds the position of Head of IS at Historic Royal Palaces, a role maintained since October 2011. Previously, Nigel was the E-Commerce Systems Manager at Waitrose from June 2006 to April 2012, where responsibilities included overseeing a 30-member IT team to support and develop various e-commerce applications. Earlier experience includes serving as Middleware Systems Manager at John Lewis Partnership from September 1999 to May 2004, where Nigel managed the network technical team, and as a Project Manager/Team Leader at Industrial Control Services from June 1991 to July 1998. Nigel's career began with an apprenticeship as an Electronic Technician at BAE Systems IT from 1986 to 1990, culminating in software development for flight simulators.
