Barbara Bekhof is a professional with extensive expertise in climate adaptation and music. Currently serving as Team Manager and Advisor for Climate Adaptation at Tauw Nederland since October 2018, Barbara leads various projects involving risk dialogues and strategic planning. As an accomplished violist, Barbara has performed with the Zeeuws Kamer Orkest TY since 2003 and participates in diverse concert ensembles. Previously, Barbara completed traineeships focused on climate adaptation and urban planning with the Gemeente Stichtse Vecht and Gemeente Utrecht, where significant projects included the innovative Wonderwoods and research on waste collection in urban settings. Barbara's academic background includes a Master's degree in Urbanism from Delft University of Technology and a cum laude Master's degree in Classical Music from the Koninklijk Conservatorium.
