Freek Kortekaas

Freek Kortekaas is a professional with expertise in climate studies and air quality. Currently serving as the first project employee at TAUW Nederland since July 2022, Freek provides advisory support in the air team. Prior experience includes roles as a student and student assistant at Wageningen University & Research, where Freek assisted students and graded exams in the 'Air quality' course, and a research internship at NOAA, focused on validating N2O models using observational data. Freek has also worked as a meteorologist at MeteoGroup and held leadership and sales positions in other organizations. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Climate Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Soil Water Atmosphere, both obtained from Wageningen University & Research, along with a VWO diploma in Nature and Health from Visser 't Hooft.
