Wieske Oomen

Wieske Oomen currently operates as Team Manager and Project Leader for Soil and Water at TAUW Nederland since February 2023. Prior to this role, Wieske worked as a Geotechnical Engineer at Royal HaskoningDHV from January 2018 to January 2023 and had a graduate internship at Royal HaskoningDHV in collaboration with TU Delft from February to October 2017. Previous experience includes an internship at Witteveen+Bos, where research focused on the settlement sensitivity of soils in the Groningen earthquake area, along with a role as a Student Assistant at TU Delft supporting first-year master's students in Geo-Engineering. Additionally, Wieske contributed to Team Robin by providing workshops and presentations about Delft University of Technology and served as Chair for Integrand, a stage placement agency. Wieske holds a Master's degree in Geo-Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology and possesses an International Baccalaureate from Mencia de Mendoza.
