Beena Rai

Beena Rai is a accomplished scientist currently serving as Chief Scientist at Tata Consultancy Services since February 2021, after having held the position of Principal Scientist at TCS Research from March 1996 to February 2021, where leadership in molecular simulations was a key focus. Earlier in the career, Beena Rai worked as a research associate at the National Chemical Laboratory from January 1993 to February 1996. Beena Rai holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Savitribai Phule Pune University (1988-1993), an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Gorakhpur (1983-1985), and completed a Chevening Scholarship in Innovation Leadership at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2012.
