Elizabeth Calder

Elizabeth Calder is an experienced educator currently serving as the Curriculum Lead for the Leadership Development Program at Teach For Australia since July 2020. Prior to this role, Elizabeth held various teaching positions including English as an Additional Language and Language of Mathematics Teacher, as well as English and Literacy Intervention Teacher at the Department of Education & Training, Victoria. Additional experience includes serving as an Academic Skills Tutor, Italian Tutor, and Leadership Coach at Trinity College, the University of Melbourne, and as a VCE Italian Examiner at Melbourne Girls Grammar. Elizabeth also taught at Melbourne Montessori School and was involved in English as an Additional Language, Humanities, and Italian teaching as an Associate with Teach for Australia. Elizabeth holds a Master of Teaching and a Postgraduate Diploma of Teaching from the University of Melbourne, along with a Bachelor of Commerce, a Diploma of Modern Languages in Italian, and an Italian Language Diploma from various institutions.
