Alex Berkenkamp

Alex Berkenkamp currently serves as the Head of Finance at Speak, an innovative AI-driven language learning platform, since July 2023, and also takes on the role of Advisor at TeamOhana from September 2023. Prior experience includes a tenure at Benchling as the Director of Strategic Finance from March 2020 to May 2023, where Alex managed corporate finance workflows and contributed to significant business scaling during a hyper-growth period. Roles at Segment and Instart Logic Inc included strategic finance management, driving operational efficiency, and supporting company growth. Earlier experiences at Deutsche Bank and GCA focused on technology investment banking, complemented by a role as a teaching assistant at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance & Business Economics from the University of Southern California.
