Rob van Wely

Rob Van Wely has extensive experience in leadership and financial management in the business sector. Currently serving as Chair of TEC (The Executive Committee) Canada since 2013, Rob focuses on fostering innovation among business leaders. Prior to this role, Rob was President of Global Vintners Inc. from 2000 to 2013, where annual sales grew by $30 million and net earnings increased by 150% through strategic initiatives. Rob also held the position of Sr. Vice President of Corporate Development and CFO at Andrew Peller Limited from 1996 to 2000, overseeing financial reporting and significant merger and acquisition activities that contributed to substantial company growth. Educated at Wilfrid Laurier University, with a degree in Honours Bachelor of Business Administration, Rob is also a Chartered Accountant and completed the Ivey Executive Program at Western University.
